About Kara Lynn Design

Hello! I am Kara and the designer behind Kara Lynn Design. I work with individuals and businesses to help build their brand identity. My background and experience has lead me to become a full-time freelance designer and has shaped how I approach my work. This is how I see my role:

Designer:

With 7+ years of experience working at design agencies, I have the technical skills to provide my clients with the design deliverables they need.

Artist:

Art plays a big role in my life and helps inform my process and aesthetic, giving your brand an authentic and unique touch. 

Strategist:

With a background in marketing, from college to design agencies to running my own business, I make sure that strategy is at the center of all my work. Design should be beautiful but most importantly, effective.

I describe my design approach in these three words: Scrappy, Genuine, and Effective. The bottom line is I take businesses that have little to no design and work with them to create a genuine brand that ultimately is effective.
